A hidden little spot in Sherman oaks, perfect for take out or a quick meal in a homey setting. Affordable prices, large sized plates, and yummy food! Brussels: crispy and flavorful Kefta plate: comes with beef/lamb patties cooked to ~medium rare/medium, a crispy eggplant, salad, and your choice of mixed rice/lentil soup/Jerusalem salad. Served with hot, fluffy pitas. I got the lentil soup and it was great. My friends love their rice. Looked like all choices would've been yummy. The plates were about $20, and it was such great value. It could easily be 1.5meals. Overall, homey vibes and delicious food.
First off parking is in back of the Resturant what you think is a driveway to the left is a wheelchair ramp not a driveway. Entry is off Dickens. The Resturant is informal. We had several items. The dried chicken is great I had a lamb and beef switch is spicy along with a soup which had Harrisa . The pita is excellent. We also had a chicken which was moist. Plates are served with Cilantro and a lite dressing. The food is reasonable plates are about 15 dollars. They do have wine and beer Serves was fast and the perfect spot after a long day.
Crispy broccoli was delicious! Chicken pita was also excellent. Fresh food. Service was good, not overly attentive. Would definitely eat here again and try some more.
I've come here for years - a great local spot. Skip the steak and focus on falafel, chicken kebab or chicken shawarma are my top picks. They usually give you a yummy bowl of pickled vegetables when you eat-in. You can also order them if you order pick-up. The Moroccan fried chicken is the star of the appetizers followed by the broccoli and brussel sprouts. You pretty much can't miss. It's a cute spot to enjoy with friends or family. I went big and got a chocolate almond tahini shake. Just as delicious as it looks. Tastes like a chocolate milkshake.
My mom and I ate here tonight and it was the perfect setting to catch up with her! It wasn't too loud and had good music playing. We shared the watermelon salad and the pargiyot plate to share. The plate came with fragrant herbs, pillowy pita, a mountain of hummus, fried eggplant and a Jerusalem salad. Everything was delicious!! So fresh and flavorful, would totally recommend as a casual weeknight dinner spot.
